1 Month

1 Month ago today David got hit.

Right now he is half way on a motorized wheel chair (I just called and they were in the middle of moving him). I would say that is good progress! I am headed over to take pictures now.

I found you blog thru visiting your mums. For me, it has given me a very human view of the war and what all you wonderful military families sacrifice. If you go private, I would love to be included, leadawareness@yahoo.com. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.-Cricket

Your blog is a true testiment to the reality that real people are fighting this long war. Thank you for the sacrifices you and David have made. Not just husbands or wives enlist but families. If you go private, I would like to be included on future posts anngriffith@verizon.net.

I went to college at USA with Dave. I met Dave freshman year because he knew my roommate, Kristin. I haven't been in touch with Dave since I left school and a mutual friend passed along this article. I would love for Dave to know how very proud of him I am! I always knew he would do something amazing with his life! I appreciate your blog and look forward to reading about his progress. I will pray for you & Dave and wish you encouragement during the difficult times.
