Branching Out

Wii's for Warriors has really taken off, we have given out 9 so far (That's close to $4,000 worth)! Dave and I are always looking for new ways to help out around here, so we have been talking with a few guys around the mologne house who sit around and play guitar at night. We decided to start up a jam session/classes for guys in the hospital and the MH. We are going to look into buying a few used guitars and getting this going within the next week. This would be extremely helpful for guys who have played before and may have lost an arm or hand and are learning to play again with the other hand. Also it provides a soldier with any injury an opportunity to get together with others with a common interest.

You are doing such positive things, Liz. How wonderful for those there to be around people like you and Dave. I know you are a bright spot in each day. xoxo

My husband got a guitar at OT. I would check to see if they are still giving them out. It was completely free and instead of buying them they can get a brand new one. That would help out a lot.
